Origin. When Trailer 1 arrived on 4 December 2023, Take-Two confirmed PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and a PC version was not confirmed (Polygon). GTA V came out on 17 September 2013 and reached PC on 14 April 2015. On delay day, 2 May 2025, PC players were already joking about 2028 (Daily Dot).
How people use it. "PC players watching console players finally play", skeletons in front of powerful gaming rigs, and "we got X before GTA 6 on PC", the likely heir of the main meme after 19 November 2026.
Example. A glowing PC case covered in cobwebs next to a calendar with "2028?" circled.
As of 12 October 2026, no PC version had been announced.
