Operation Midnight
GTA 6 launch week
The GTA 6 launch week hub opens on November 12, 2026, the day pre-loading starts. From then until the first weekend after the November 19, 2026 release, Loco Coast posts launch memes here as they happen: the preload, the midnight unlock, the first night and the first bugs.
- 1
Pre-loading starts
The wall opens. Memes about download sizes, progress bars and Grandpa Preload's beard.
- 2
First midnights
If GTA 6 unlocks at local midnight, New Zealand gets it first, around November 18 at 11:00 UTC. Not confirmed by Rockstar.
- 3
Release day
GTA 6 comes out on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The end of the “before GTA 6” era.
- 4
The first weekend
Peak hype. First bugs, first falls, first “before GTA 6 on PC” jokes.
Dates from Rockstar and Take-Two. Unlock times are an estimate: Rockstar has not announced them.
