Origin. Rockstar unveiled the cover art and special editions on 18 June 2026, and the reveal video passed 15.5 million views. The collage-style GTA cover has been parodied since 2005, so the template was ready. On 20 June Inven Global reported that the White House, the US Department of Labor, Customs and Border Protection and the health secretary had all posted cover-style spoofs.
How people use it. Friends, pets, sports teams and coworkers placed in the collage panels, often with a "before GTA 6" caption.
Example. A family group chat photo cut into tilted panels with the caption "we finished the renovation before GTA 6".
