- Is this coin connected to GTA 6 or Rockstar?
- No. Grandpa Preload's coin is a Loco Coast meme about waiting for a game, timed to the GTA 6 release day. It is not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive and uses none of their names, logos or art.
- Why 19:11 UTC?
- Because it is 19.11, the day GTA 6 comes out, so the date and the time match. It is also 11:11 in Los Angeles, 14:11 in New York and 20:11 in Berlin, so the Americas and Europe can be there together.
- What if GTA 6 is delayed again?
- Then Grandpa sits back down. His coin launches on release day, so if the date moves, the launch moves with it, and the new minute appears here and in our chats first. Nothing is created on pump.fun before that minute.
- Where do I get the official address?
- Only on this page and in our Telegram and Discord, at 19:11 UTC on 19 November. An address you see before that minute or in a private message is fake.
- Why are the ticker and the picture secret?
- So nobody can copy them before we launch. Fakes and sniper bots get ready for a known name and picture; ours appear at 19:11 UTC together with the address, here and in our chats. Everything else about the coin, the minute and the rules is on this page already.
- Is there a presale, a whitelist or an airdrop?
- No. Nobody has this coin before 19:11 UTC on 19 November. At that minute the coin is created on pump.fun with the team's 1% bought in the same transaction, and from then on everyone buys on the same bonding curve. Anyone selling it before the launch is a scammer.
- Who gets the creator fees?
- pump.fun pays a creator fee on trades. 70% goes to the Loco Coast studio and 30% to the meme fund, which pays prizes for the best community memes. The split is fixed on-chain at launch with pump.fun fee sharing, and every prize payout is logged here.
- Does the team hold any of the coin?
- Yes: 1% of the supply, bought in the transaction that creates the coin and logged here. No team sales for 30 days after launch; after that at most 0.1% of the supply a week, each sale announced in the public log a day before.
- How many coins will there be?
- 1,000,000,000, the pump.fun standard. Minting is closed when the coin is created, so nobody can ever mint more.
- What happens after launch?
- Memes. The meme wave in the first hour, raid hours every evening for a week and a remix contest with prizes from the meme fund. When the bonding curve fills up, pump.fun moves the coin to PumpSwap by itself.
- Will there be other Loco Coast coins?
- One at a time. Right now there is only Grandpa Preload's coin. A next coin is announced here only after it, so any other coin in our name before that is fake.
- Who can take part?
- Adults (18+). What to do before the launch minute is under “How to take part”.
- Is the coin an investment?
- No. It is a meme with a community around it. Memecoins are a high-risk game of hype and can drop to zero: only use money you can afford to lose. Nothing here is financial advice.
