Origin. The scene arrived with Trailer 2 on 6 May 2025. Within hours a post calling Jason and Lucia the finest video game protagonists in history passed a million views, and the next day Know Your Meme opened a Shirtless Jason entry, still marked as a submission.
How people use it. Fan edits set to slow songs, "new album or a night with Jason?" polls, "glow up between trailers" comparisons and, above all, gym jokes.
Example. A Reddit post titled "week 1 of trying to get as fit as Jason", with the author's own mirror selfie next to a description of the scene. It got about 2,900 upvotes in a day.
