Origin. Rockstar had scheduled the premiere for Tuesday 5 December 2023 at 9am ET. On the evening of 4 December a low-quality copy appeared on X, so Rockstar put the trailer out about 15 hours early. It introduced the two leads, Jason and Lucia, a modern Vice City and a 2025 window that later moved twice.
How people use it. Frame-by-frame breakdowns, "Florida is real" comparisons, jokes about the leak itself, and the soundtrack: Spotify streams of Tom Petty's "Love Is a Long Road" jumped 36,979%, MusicTech reported.
