GTA 6 characters: Jason, Lucia and the cast Rockstar revealed

The descriptions below are our short summaries of Rockstar's own character pages (Only in Leonida). The characters belong to Rockstar Games; we show no pictures of them.

Jason Duval

Jason grew up around grifters and crooks. After a stint in the Army he ended up in the Keys, working for local drug runners, and lives rent-free at one of Brian Heder's places in exchange for help with shakedowns. He wants an easy life; meeting Lucia could be the best or the worst thing that ever happened to him.

Lucia Caminos

Lucia's father taught her to fight as soon as she could walk. Fighting for her family put her in the Leonida Penitentiary, and luck got her out. She wants the good life her mother has dreamed of since their days in Liberty City, and a life with Jason could be her way out. The Launch Trailer opens with her calling Jason from prison.

Cal Hampton

Jason's friend and another of Brian's associates. Cal feels safest at home, listening in on Coast Guard radio with a few beers and some private browser tabs. Rockstar sums him up with his own question: what if everything on the internet was true?

Boobie Ike

A Vice City legend who turned his street years into real estate, a strip club and a recording studio. All smiles until it is time to talk business. His big bet is the label Only Raw Records with Dre'Quan.

Dre'Quan Priest

More hustler than gangster, he always wanted to break into music. He has signed the Real Dimez to Only Raw Records and sets his sights on the Vice City scene, beyond booking acts for Boobie's club.

Real Dimez

Bae-Luxe and Roxy, friends since high school, who turned shaking down local dealers into rap tracks and a relentless social media presence. An early hit with the rapper DWNPLY made their name; five years and a lot of trouble later, they are signed to Only Raw Records.

Raul Bautista

A seasoned bank robber with confidence, charm and cunning, always looking for new talent for bigger scores. His recklessness raises the stakes on every job.

Brian Heder

An old-school drug runner from the golden age of smuggling in the Keys, still moving product through his boat yard with his third wife, Lori, and letting others do the dirty work.

Can you switch between Jason and Lucia?

Yes. In An Extended Look on 27 August 2026, play switched between the two, as in GTA V's three-character system (GamesRadar+). Which button does it and when you can switch will be clear on release day.
