Where to share GTA 6 memes: posting, credit and submissions

Pick a destination for this specific meme

Make the decision after looking at the finished file. A hand-drawn still, an AI-assisted character image and a short video can be treated differently by the same community. A link to your own project can also count as promotion even when the image itself is acceptable.

Check the material and the destination

Keep the original image, footage or template link and a note of the creator. If another person made part of the work, confirm the permission you need before submitting it. Credit tells readers who made something; permission determines whether you may use it for the purpose you have in mind.

For Loco Coast, the content policy requires eligible original work and excludes Rockstar assets, game footage and real private people without their consent. Our templates are a starting point for non-commercial memes with credit. The disclosures explain the studio’s AI-assisted artwork.

Check AI rules separately from asset permission. At this check, r/GTA6 prohibits AI-generated content. Adding a new caption to an AI-assisted image does not make it a suitable recommendation for that community. Vice City Forums’ published clip policy allows disclosed AI-assisted concepts, but says they must not be presented as real gameplay. These are distinct rules, not a universal permission to cross-post.

Submit an original meme to Loco Coast

Loco Coast publishes this guide. The route below is our own submission process, checked on 20 October 2026.

1. Finish the meme in your chosen editor. Open the exported file and check that its caption is readable on a phone. Loco Coast has no on-site meme maker.
2. Open the official Telegram chat. You can also reach it from the community page. Discord is currently marked as opening soon.
3. Send one meme per post. Include the name or handle you want credited, plus any relevant source or permission information.
4. Let moderators review it. They select entries for the weekly round, ask the author before adding selected work, and credit the author. Sending a file does not publish it automatically.
5. Share the actual entry if it is selected. Use the published page and current voting rules. Do not announce that a meme is in a round before it appears there.

The chat is also used for other Loco Coast community activity. Keep a meme submission focused on the work and respect the chat’s rules on links and promotion.

Make the credit easy to keep

A compact submission note can cover the essential information. For an original caption using one of our blanks, for example:

“Caption by @your-name. Loco Coast character template; AI-assisted studio art. Please credit @your-name if selected.”

Adapt the note to what you actually made and the source you actually used. If you drew everything yourself, say that. If you have permission from another creator, keep their required credit intact. Do not claim sole authorship of an image because you wrote its caption.

When asking for feedback, add one concrete question such as “Does the second line read clearly?” This gives people something answerable without requiring them to promote the post.

Before pressing send

• The file opens and the caption is readable at normal phone size.
• The material and any AI involvement fit the destination’s rules.
• The creator credit and relevant source links are present.
• The title does not disguise a joke or theory as confirmed news.
• Any promotional link has the permission the community requires.
