How to claim the free month of GTA+ with a GTA 6 pre-order

On PS5

PlayStation's steps (PlayStation):

1. Pre-order the digital Standard or Ultimate Edition of GTA 6 in the PlayStation Store before 20 November 2026.
2. Open the GTA+ product page in the PlayStation Store.
3. Follow the on-screen steps: the first month costs nothing.
4. Do it by 31 March 2027.

The screen shows the date when the free month turns into a paid monthly subscription. To avoid the payment, cancel it in Subscriptions Management in your account settings before that date. If you already have GTA+, the month is added to your subscription. One claim per account.

On Xbox Series X|S

The Microsoft Store listing says (Microsoft Store):

1. A pop-up on your console tells you when the month is ready to redeem.
2. Open the Store, select your profile icon in the top left corner, then Offers & credits.
3. Redeem the offer within 180 days of your pre-order.

It is limited to one redemption per account, and child accounts with limits on age-restricted content cannot redeem it.

What GTA+ gives you

GTA+ is Rockstar's subscription for GTA Online, the online mode of GTA V, not for GTA 6. Rockstar lists GTA$500,000 a month in your GTA Online account, Shark Cards with 15% bonus GTA$, free and discounted GTA Online vehicles, and a rotating library of classic Rockstar games (Rockstar Games). GTA 6 itself is single player: does GTA 6 have online?

Where the offer does not apply

PlayStation lists all its country stores except Bahrain, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, Russia and Taiwan. Boxed copies are not part of it: the offer is for digital pre-orders.
